Dr. Mueller is the Program Director of the Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship (FPMRS) at Loyola University Medical Center. She is a board certified urologist and is also board certified in FPMRS. She is the Division Director of the FPMRS Division and is an Associate Professor in Urology and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Mueller brings the expertise and experience of her urologic training to the daily care of our patients and education of our fellows. Her special interests include surgical anatomy, urodynamics, and 3-dimensional pelvic floor ultrasound. She successfully united her special interests and enthusiasm for teaching and education to develop several novel teaching tools, including an integrated, surgical anatomy lecture and dissection series for gynecology and urology residents and a formal, nationally accepted educational curriculum on urodynamics for urology residents. She is an NIH funded investigator. |

Linda Brubaker, MD, MS, FACS, FACOG
We are honored to have Dr. Linda Brubaker as an active member of the FPMRS division and an involved teacher in the fellowship program. As the only urogynecologist who is Dean of a US Medical School, Dr. Brubaker keeps quite busy. Neverless she continues to be an international leader in female pelvic floor disorders and an avid researcher. She has successfully mentored numerous fellows in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, nearly all of whom remain active in academic medicine. A list of prior graduates is provided on the alumni page. Her commitment to training exceptional reconstructive surgeons is further emphasized by her creation of a uniquely integrated division, which provides regular exposure to diverse urogynecologic and urologic procedures.
Dr. Brubaker is board certified in FPMRS and Ob/Gyn. She is also an NIH funded investigator. |

Colleen Fitzgerald, MD, MS

Dr. Fitzgerald joined the FPMRS division in 2013 and has brought a unique dimension to this diverse group of urogynecologists. She is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitaiton and recieved her residency training at the Rehabilitaiton Institute of Chicago/ Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. Her specialties include rehabilitation, women's pelvic medicine, pregnancy related musculoskeletal medicine, pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction and pain in pregnancy and postpartum.
Dr. Fitzgerald is an NIH funded investigator and a dedicated teacher and mentor. Her unique background has made her a welcome addition to the FPMRS division. |

Cynthia Brincat, MD, PhD |
Dr. Brincat is the newest addition to the FPRMS division. She attended Loyola University of Chicago where she recieved a PhD in Philosophy and then continued her studies at Loyola in the Stritch School of Medicine where she recieved her MD. She was then recruited to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology and then pursued additional academic training by completing a fellowship program in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Brincat's offers a unique contribution to the FPMRS fellowship. Her training as an academic ethicist sets the tone for her research into quality of life questions and value biases, that complement the already strong social awareness of the program. She adds an additional clinical component with her interest in birth injury and post-partum care that will translate into new clinical and research opportunities for our trainees.
