Thyroid Adenoma

Histologic section : A microscopic secion of thyroid gland reveals a follicular adenoma. The neoplasm is composed of uniform-appearing small follicles and is surrounded in part by a thin fibrous capsule. The expanding neoplasm compresses the adjacent normal thyroid.
