Emily received the 2014 Excellence in Public Health Award from the U.S. Public Health Service Physician Professional Advisory Committee for creating the ENRICH Natural Learning Center (community garden) in Maywood, IL. The award was presented April 2nd by Dr. James Lando, Regional Health Administrator of the United States Public Health Service (USPHS).
